Privacy Policy

Effective: January 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Interceptor Health collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit our website, book a screening, or otherwise interact with our services.

Information We Collect

When you book a screening, submit a contact form, or create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, department, and any notes you choose to provide. If you complete a screening, our clinical partners also generate health-related records tied to that visit.

We automatically collect limited technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, to keep the website secure and functioning correctly. We do not use this technical data to identify individuals.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to schedule and confirm screenings, communicate with you about your appointment, respond to inquiries submitted through our forms, maintain your account, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal or health information to third parties.

How We Share Information

We share information with the clinical staff and mobile diagnostic teams who perform your screening, and with your fire department or union only where you have authorized that arrangement or where required for scheduling coordination.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our patients and staff, or to service providers who help us operate our booking, email, and account systems under confidentiality obligations.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted account authentication and restricted access to booking and health records. No online system is completely immune to risk, and we continually review our safeguards as our program grows.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. If you have a patient account, you can also review your booking history directly from your account page.

Data Retention

We retain booking and contact records for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet clinical and legal recordkeeping obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of non-clinical account information at any time.

To request deletion of your account or non-clinical information, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section below. Clinical records tied to a completed screening may be subject to separate legal recordkeeping requirements and retained accordingly.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for active and retired fire service personnel and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
